ABOUT ME
My whole life, I have had a passion for creativity. This passion has expanded to me now being a third-year student looking forward to attaining my Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Professional Communication, with a double minor in marketing and graphic communications. My goal is to continuously improve my design skills so I am able to apply them to various mediums. What has helped me reach this goal is taking Adobe courses that focused on Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Spark, Premiere, and Audition. However, I am always finding ways to expand my knowledge of applying design when communicating through marketing, graphics, video, photography, and art.
So far, my skills have given me a chance to work as a marketing and branding assistant for the construction and restoration company, BSC.Ltd., and the non-profit club, Stars United Baton Club where I built their website & social media. Aside from employment, I have also been involved within the community and my school. Currently, I am a creative associate for the Ted Rogers Marketing Association. I am also working with the Ted Rogers Students Society as the Creative Designer and was the Events Marketing Coordinator in 2022, where more 80% of my content was the most shared on the TRSS page within my working year. In 2021, I also worked with the Ryerson Entertainment Conference as a graphic design associate. Furthermore, outside of school, I have also been the elected athlete’s rep for the Canadian Baton Twirling Association three years in a row since 2019. This role has given me the opportunity to manage and create content for the CNBTA Instagram account from 2019 - 2022. I also organized, planned, and advocated for the athletes in the organization to make sure they have their voices heard when in meetings with the Board of Directors. I have also taken many courses in my three years at Toronto Metropolitan University, including, Principles of Marketing, Communication and Social Media, Integrated Marketing Communication, Design & Layout, Digital Design Studio, Introduction to Visual Communication, Digital Discourse & Design, and FCAD's Design Solution Supercourse.
Aside from my professional roles, I have my own branding and design freelance business @PueblaDesigns and am a World Bronze Baton Twirling Champion. I love graphic design, listening to music, travelling, shopping, painting, drawing, studying fashion, design, taking photography, and making video edits/vlogs. I am also very curious, hardworking, and determined to find new opportunities!
